About FrameStack
FrameStack is a directory for people who make video with code and coding agents. It lists generation models, the hosts that serve them, the frameworks agents write, and the skills and MCP servers that connect the two. There are 198 listings and 507 generated pages.
What got checked
- GitHub REST and Search API on 3 November 2026, for star counts, SPDX licenses, and the latest release when the releases endpoint returned one. Listings marked 24fps.dev use star counts published on that site, which says it read the GitHub API when the page was built. Those repos were not re-queried here.
- Runway's developer pricing guide (docs.dev.runwayml.com/guides/pricing). One credit is $0.01. 22 models carry a rate from that page. They are Runway's resale rates, including for labs Runway does not own.
- Alibaba Cloud Model Studio's HappyHorse text-to-video reference, for duration and the 9:16 ratio. Native audio on that row is Runway's description of the same model.
- 24fps.dev tools, skills, and llms.txt pages, for agent frameworks, MCP servers, and install commands.
- skills.sh and the vendor skill docs for HyperFrames and Remotion install commands.
- Product Hunt pages for Remotion and HeyGen, linked from those listings.
- ElevenLabs' API pricing page and OpenAI's pricing docs were fetched. Neither produced a video per-second rate, so those fields are blank. HeyGen's API pricing URL was fetched and did not yield a dollar rate.
What is left blank
A dash is not a free tier and not a guess. Resolution, duration, native audio, and 9:16 are filled only when the page we read said so. Open source is true only when the GitHub API returned an OSI SPDX id such as MIT or Apache-2.0. A public repo with no SPDX id stays closed in this table. Nothing is marked sponsored or affiliate.
The boilerplate
The app started from the MIT-licensed nextjs-directory-boilerplate (copyright 2024 huntsyea): Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui. The directory pages, catalog, and film-bench palette are FrameStack's.
